Primary Retroperitoneal Tumors a study of 16 cases



Abstract
Sixteen cases of primary retroperitoneal tumors surgically treated for these recent 4 years were
surveyed clinically and pathologically. the results are as followed.
1. Nine cases out of 16 were malignant and 7 were benign.
2. The incidence by age were most frequent over 40 years old.
3. There was no difference by the site of origin.
4. Extensive radical excision is most likely a reasonable treatment.
